A 2.5 hour trip by car from Victoria to Courtenay took us 7 hours. We did stop once for 15 minutes and then again in Coombs at the goats on the roof. We ate delicious lunch there and bought some little trinkets. We saw some seals and heard them barking.
And... Roasting marshmallows in the wood stove.
